The Children’s Treatment Centre’s Hockey Road Trip Raffle draw was held live January 7 with all 2,200 tickets sold. Hosted by board member Don Fairweather, the event drew strong community support and was livestreamed by Gabriel Riviere-Reid of YourTV Cornwall.
“Thanks to everyone who supported the Centre by purchasing one or more tickets,” said Fairweather. “Because you care, the children served at the Centre will have a brighter future.”
The grand prize winner was Todd Michaud, who won an NHL road trip for two to see three games in three cities, Buffalo at Montreal, Vegas at Toronto, and Carolina at Ottawa, January 22, 23, and 24. The prize includes VIA Rail travel, hotel accommodations, $1,200 spending money, and transportation by Charmic Limos & Tours.
Nine additional prize packages were also awarded. Darwin Unrau claimed second prize, followed by Mike Aube, Heather Ward, Patrick Maloney, Kent Guindon, Virginia Dipierro, James Eamon, Sylvie Tremblay, and Brent Walker. The Children’s Treatment Centre extended its gratitude to all sponsors, supporters, and volunteers who contributed to the fundraiser’s success.
