Cornwall Tourism Development Fund has announced a bold new initiative to spark creativity and boost tourism: the Tourism Innovation Challenge. Open to all Canadian residents, the challenge invites innovative business ideas that will attract more visitors and increase overnight stays in Cornwall, Ontario. The winning pitch will receive a $25,000 grand prize to help bring their idea to life.
“The Tourism Development Fund is pleased to present this Challenge, which will provide much needed working capital to a tourism-based business that will be located in Cornwall,” said Dale Allen, Chair of the Cornwall Tourism Development Corporation.
Semi-finalists will receive coaching seminars hosted by the Cornwall SDG Business Enterprise Centre, while the Top 5 finalists will receive personalized mentorship. The competition wraps up with a live pitch finale at The Dev Centre on February 12, 2026.
