A 39-year-old woman from Cornwall faces several charges after she was arrested November 11 by the Cornwall Police Service.
Charges include aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, administering a noxious substance, theft, assault with a weapon.
One of the many incidents that led to charges occurred Sept. 22 when the woman allegedly shoplifted at a Second Street East business. A loss prevention officer sustained injuries after being punched in the face, while another individual was pepper-sprayed.
Oct. 21 the woman allegedly unlawfully entered a residence of an individual known to her, assaulted the man, choked him and sprayed the individual with bear spray.
