Centre 105’s Annual Christmas Concert Fundraiser at Trinity Anglican Church featured the 50-member Centennial Choir of Cornwall, along with St. Lawrence Parish choirs and musicians. Stage manager Michael Pearson said the program, “Christmas Around the World,” included carols performed in seven languages, including German and Ukrainian. “If you can just bop and jump around and have fun with it,” Pearson said of one upbeat favourite, adding a seasonal message: “Do your best for anybody. Be kind to those people out there.”
Executive Director Taylor Seguin said the fundraiser has been running since 2018 and has partnered with the Centennial Choir for the past three years. Last year’s event raised about $10,000, and Centre 105 set a goal to match that amount again. “$10,000 was a huge, huge chunk of change for us,” Seguin said. Centre 105 said it served more than 25,000 meals in 2025 and continued to provide showers, laundry, a safe place to socialize, and referrals to other programs.
