The Cline House Gallery’s annual Merry Mini Holiday Exhibition, showcasing small-scale original works and artisan gift items, runs until December 20 and is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Emily MacLeod, Visual Arts Coordinator for the Cline House, said the event is a celebration of creativity and community. “We’ve got 52 artists exhibiting in the gallery and over 25 artisans with awesome giftable items in the conservatory,” she explained. “It’s a great way to support local and Canadian artists and keep your dollars in the local economy.”
Artwork styles range from hyper-realism to abstract, with mediums including painting, glass, metal sculpture, textiles, and more. Prices for the mini artworks fall between $100 and $400, while artisan items start around $10, making the show accessible for holiday shoppers.
Bainsville artist Michelle O’Connor, exhibiting acrylic landscapes based on her local adventures, said, “I love painting trees, rocks, and waterscapes, especially scenes from our kayaking and hiking trips.” The show encourages visitors to “give the gift of art” this holiday season.
