A 25-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested Jan. 23, and charged with assault with a weapon and assault. It is alleged Aug. 5 the man assaulted one youth with an edged weapon and assaulted a second youth. He was taken into custody and later released to appear in court March 3.
Shoplifting
A 33-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with theft under $5,000 after he allegedly shoplifted at a Ninth Street West business October 10.
Uttering threats
A 41-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested Jan. 23 and charged after she allegedly threatened to kill an individual known to her November 17.
Impaired driving charge
A 19-year-old woman from Cornwall was charged with impaired driving Jan. 26 after Cornwall Police Service officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Tollgate Road and Brookdale Avenue and found the woman was operating her motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The woman was later released to appear in court Feb. 24.
