The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education (AMBE) has issued a health notice to families, reporting an increase in COVID-19 cases across its school community. AMBE is asking for continued cooperation from parents and guardians to keep students and staff safe. Guidelines shared by AMBE include keeping children home when unwell, ensuring students are symptom-free for 24 hours after head cold symptoms or 48 hours after vomiting or diarrhea, and requiring a 10-day isolation period for COVID-19 cases unless the student can wear a mask properly.
