A 53-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested March 18 and charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and obstructing a peace officer.
It is alleged the man assaulted and choked his girlfriend’s daughter. He fled the scene but was subsequently located by a member of the Cornwall Police Service. It is further alleged the man obstructed the officer. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
