Dog Mania, “an exciting, high-energy day dedicated entirely to dogs and the people who love them,” comes to Cornwall June 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Guindon Park, 3260 Vincent Massey Drive, Floral Drive entrance.
Admission is free to the day that will feature a variety of local pet vendors and services, interactive experiences and demonstrations, food vendors and refreshments, a dedicated dog run for pups, a fun dog kissing booth photo area, and a welcoming atmosphere for dogs on leashes.
Adding to the excitement, the OPP K9 Unit will take centre stage with live demonstrations, while Cornwall SD&G Paramedic Services will be onsite with their interactive Funbulance, and Cornwall Fire and Prevention will also be present to engage with the community throughout the day. Special guests Cst. Joy from Cornwall Police Service and Sparky from Cornwall Fire will also be in attendance for photos and community interaction.
“Dog Mania is more than just an event; it’s about building community,” says Steph Doré-Johnson, founder of Mastiff Productions and organizer of Mania. “We wanted to create a space where dog owners can discover local resources, support small businesses, and enjoy a meaningful day out with their dogs.”
With the growing demand for pet-focused products and services, Dog Mania aims to highlight the businesses and professionals serving Cornwall, SD&G and surrounding regions while creating an unforgettable experience.
