A 63-kilometre journey of faith and fundraising saw about a dozen participants walk from St. Andrews to Maxville and back. Kaptain MacDonald and Hayden Hamilton of Two Strong Christian Boys That Can Move Heavy Things organized the walk, which raised more than $5,000 for Centre 105 and the Lighthouse Drop-in Centre. The route represents about 40 miles, which MacDonald said reflects the distance Jesus travelled between Nazareth and Capernaum during part of his ministry. “We’re trying to match that distance in honour of him,” said MacDonald.
