Did you know that the month of September is very much a transitional month in our lives as we let go of our summer routines and reengage our normal behavioral patterns. In the retail and shopping centre industry, it is also a transitional period with an ever-increasing focus on the upcoming height of consumer expenditures that begin with the Halloween events in October, followed by the arrival of Santa across Canada in November, followed by Black Friday and the run up to Christmas and the ever-present post-Christmas sale upon sale.
You need to know that September at Cornwall Square follows the same pattern, as mall management and its team of elves are busy behind the scenes getting ready on multiple fronts for the 3 months ahead. The Cornwall Square maintenance team is creating the new 2025 Santa Photo set which will provide a more contemporary and airier backdrop for Santa and Mrs. Claus to welcome their new crowd of little girls and boys requesting goodies for Christmas day. The same maintenance team members are working on the Halloween décor material, the Remembrance Day display and the overall Cornwall Square shopping centre Festive décor package. The Cornwall Square leasing team is working feverishly to schedule the arrival and opening of all the seasonal tenants that are coming to Cornwall Square during October, November and December. The Cornwall Square creative team is finalizing the mall’s Festive Season décor theme as well as the digital assistance protocols to help all our tenants make use of our social media platforms during this most hectic time of the year.
Did you know that Katie Hope from Balloon Babes is designing this year’s Halloween Mega balloon sculpture, a tradition that began with the Mega Pumpkin, then the Mega Cat, then the Mega Dragon and last year’s Mega Spider.
You need to know that we anticipate yet another FOOD HALL announcement within the next month. Drum roll please! More yum to come.
