Pumpkinferno is back for its 14th season at Upper Canada Village, opening October 3 and running select evenings through November 1. The award-winning luminary experience features thousands of glowing, handcrafted artificial pumpkins arranged along a scenic outdoor path.
This year’s event introduces five new themes: the elegant Gilded Garden Party, whimsical Feline Frenzy, dazzling Rhinestone Rodeo, high-fashion Avant-Gourd Gallery, and imaginative Under the Weather. Fan favourites, including The Smoke Dancers, a tribute to Indigenous dance created with Akwesasne Travel, also return.
Created by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission in 2012, Pumpkinferno has become a signature fall event. Each display is meticulously crafted by a team of young artists over several months.
“Pumpkinferno has become a cherished fall tradition for families across the region, and we’re excited to welcome guests back for its 14th year,” said Upper Canada Village Manager Tracey Ogilby. “Each glowing pumpkin is a testament to the talent and imagination of our young artists.”
