Lana Murree, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), owner of Glengarry Roots Dental Clinic, has opened the doors to her new office on Military Trail in Lancaster. The new dental clinic is perfectly named since she has deep roots in Glengarry and calls North Lancaster home. “Opening my clinic here felt natural. It’s a community I care about, and I wanted to offer accessible, preventive dental care close to home,” said Murree.
With 17 years experience as a registered dental hygienist, she is the sole practitioner at the new clinic, which means her patients receive personalized care that not all larger clinics can offer. Patients know they will always only have Murree doing the work on their teeth and that can be reassuring, especially those who are hesitant to visit a hygienist or dentist. Glengarry Roots Dental Clinic welcomes patients of all ages, from young children to seniors. While cleaning a toddler’s teeth can be challenging, and according to Murree, sometimes a workout, she approaches the cleaning with patience and care. “Every age group has unique needs and I tailor my approach accordingly.”
Murree works collaboratively with other dental offices. While Glengarry Roots doesn’t do in-house imaging, if Murree suspects a cavity or restorative work is needed, she will refer the patient to a convenient dental office.
