The Cornwall Colts saw their three-game winning streak come to an end with a 4-3 loss to the Renfrew Wolves on Sunday, November 2. The Colts, now 9-6 on the season, sit fourth in the Yzerman Division with 18 points. Division leaders Rockland remain undefeated at 15-0 with 30 points.
Cornwall’s week started strong with a dominant 7-4 home win over the Nepean Raiders on Thursday, October 30. Timothy Walker recorded a hat trick and was named first star of the game, while Jack Kent notched three assists. Lyndon Lamb added two goals, including an empty-netter to seal the win.
On Sunday, the Colts struggled early in Renfrew, giving up three first-period goals. Lyndon Lamb scored twice on the power play, with assists from Luc Beliveau, who had a strong two-assist night. Derek Rhodes also scored on the man advantage, but the comeback fell just short.
The Colts return to action at home this Thursday, November 6, when they host the Smiths Falls Bears at the Ed Lumley Arena. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.
