Three hundred and seventy-five hungry people attended the 2025 Alexandria Firefighters’ Association fundraising breakfast, held at the Alexandria Curling Club.
The freewill breakfast raised $6,000.
According to Addison Hay, the event raises funds for needed equipment, as well as the training centre on Diversion Road. Additionally, the fundraiser allows the association to sponsor other community organizations and charities.
Businesses donated items towards the breakfast; the association, in turn, purchases any supplies from businesses in North Glengarry.
