The Downtown Cornwall BIA turned Saturdays in December into free, family-friendly holiday stops, pairing character visits with photo opportunities and storytimes downtown. Dec. 13, the schedule included “Vintage Sleigh Photos at Pommier Court,” along with Storytime with Mrs. Claus at the Cornwall Public Library and at Craftsman Cafe.
Nine-year-old Charlotte, who came downtown with her five-year-old sister Sophie, said meeting the Grinch and Cindy Lou “is special to me.” She also had her Christmas list ready, telling Santa she was asking for “a 3D dragon.”
Cindy Lou said the Grinch appearances support the Boys and Girls Club, adding it is their third year fundraising and they had raised “over 500” so far. Photographer Catherine Seguin said the BIA made the photos possible and free.
