The Board of Directors of the Centre de santé communautaire de l’Estrie (CSCE) has announced the appointment of Lyne Martineau as Executive Director of the CSCE.
Martineau previously held the position of Deputy Executive Director and was responsible for the corporate services of the CSCE. With several years of management experience in the health and community services sector, she brings extensive knowledge of the CSCE and its teams, as well as the needs of the Francophone communities across Eastern Ontario.
She will officially assume her new role December 15, succeeding Marc Bisson.
“Ms. Martineau stands out for her in-depth knowledge of our organization, her thoroughness, and her sense of community. She has a remarkable ability to combine stability, innovation, and strategic vision. Her career at the CSCE, her keen understanding of our challenges, and her unwavering commitment to our mission make her an inspiring and motivating leader who is ideally suited to guide the CSCE toward its next stages of development,” explained Frédérique Théorêt, Chair of the CSCE Board of Directors.
Martineau aims to build on the momentum already underway by strengthening access to French-language health services, fully supporting interprofessional teams, and deepening collaborations with regional community partners.
“I accept this responsibility with gratitude and full commitment to the mission of the CSCE. I wish to thank the Board of Directors for their trust and support. I also want to acknowledge the strength and dedication of the CSCE team, whose expertise and collaboration allow me to approach this transition with confidence. I am determined to work closely with the Board, the team, as well as our regional and provincial partners to continue building a strong and cohesive CSCE that is aligned with the needs of the Francophone communities we serve. I would also like to thank Marc Bisson, who has helped shape the CSCE and who has been an important mentor throughout my career,” said Lyne Martineau, Executive Director of the CSCE.
The Board of Directors also wishes to highlight the remarkable contribution of outgoing Executive Director Marc Bisson, who has led the CSCE with vision and strong leadership for two decades. Under his direction, the CSCE has experienced significant growth of its services and strengthened its presence within the community. He retires at the end of the year.
