The South Stormont Chamber of Commerce is preparing its Business Expo that will be held February 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the township hall in Long Sault. To secure a spot, register on the chamber’s website at sschambercommerce.ca or call Carol Delorme at 613-537-2827.
At the same time, the organization is inviting business owners and operators from across the community to help shape the future of the Chamber by sharing their input through a short, easy-to-complete survey. “Whether you are a current Chamber member or simply part of the wider South Stormont business community, your voice matters. The Chamber wants to better understand what local businesses are looking for in areas such as networking opportunities, meeting formats, special events, guest speakers, advocacy efforts, and other supports that help businesses grow and thrive,” the chamber says. “This survey is designed to ensure that the Chamber continues to offer meaningful value. By taking a few minutes to participate, business owners can directly influence the direction, priorities, and programming of the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce. The goal is simple. Build a stronger, more responsive organization that truly reflects the needs of local businesses.” As a thank-you for taking part, all business owners who complete the survey will be entered into a draw to win a $20 gift certificate to Sheehan’s Pub and Burger in Ingleside. “This is an opportunity to speak up, share ideas, and help create a Chamber that works for you and your business. Input from both members and non-members is encouraged, so even if you have never been involved with the Chamber before, this is a great place to start. Your feedback today will help guide the Chamber’s activities tomorrow. Take a few minutes, complete the survey, and help shape the future of the South Stormont business community.” The survey can be accessed at speakupsouthstormont.ca/chamber/surveys/south-stormont-chamber-of-commerce-survey
