The Cornwall and District Real Estate Board (CDREB) has presented $1,000 donations to both Victim Services of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Akwesasne and Koala Place – Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in support of frontline services for individuals and families in crisis.
The funding was made possible through contributions from local realtors via the Realtors Care Foundation. CDREB represents real estate professionals across Cornwall and SDG and regularly supports community initiatives. “Victim Services of SDG&A and Koala Place Child and Youth Advocacy Centre are most grateful to the members of the Cornwall & District Real Estate Board for their generous support,” said Executive Director Chantal Prieur. “Their kindness today becomes the strength tomorrow for a child, youth or family supported by our agencies.” Victim Services provides 24/7 crisis response and support, while Koala Place offers a safe, child-focused space for young victims of abuse. “In continuing with our desire to work with organizations in our local communities, the Cornwall and District Real Estate Board is proud to support Koala Place,” said CDREB President Derek McEwen.
