Lakeside Green Environmental Consulting’s owner Michael Madden has donated $3,000 to the Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) Foundation’s CT Scanner Campaign, marking the first of a five-year pledge totaling $15,000. “HGMH is a huge part of our community, it is part of us, and it benefits each of us who live within this wonderful area,” Madden said. “As a corporate citizen, I feel it is important to support our community when we can, as we can. Over the years, HGMH has provided care to every member of my family, to which I am forever grateful. This is a small way for me to give back and support a hospital that continues to be a shining star in our community, we are lucky to have it, and we need to support it to make sure we keep it shining for years to come. I consider myself very lucky to be able to contribute to this campaign to bring new diagnostic tools to HGMH for the benefit of the entire community.”
Foundation Chair Mark Adam said: “Lakeside Green Environmental Consulting demonstrates how a business can lead with purpose. Michael’s commitment helps ensure our hospital meets the evolving health-care needs of families today and tomorrow, while also showing how businesses can take responsibility for the health of our community and the environment. It’s a powerful example of how businesses can create meaningful, lasting change.”
