Volunteers with the Rotary Club of Cornwall gathered recently for their annual cleanup of the Rotary Eco-Gardens in Lamoureux Park, a spring effort aimed at restoring one of the city’s most visited waterfront spaces. “Every year, we come down to the Eco-Gardens and the gazebo, and we do a cleanup for Earth Day. We’ve been doing it for multiple years,” said Dean Stanley, Rotarian and club treasurer. Volunteers collected typical litter, including recyclables and general waste. Jane Loucks, Director of Youth Services, said, “It’s mainly litter from people walking and using the path.”
