Did you know that last week’s edition of the Seaway News witnessed the end of a 209-week streak? This “News From The Square” column began April 12, 2022, as a means of informing Cornwall and area residents about fun facts and events at Cornwall Square. For 209 consecutive weeks I continued to carry out that mission, then along came a week with too many distractions and within the blink of an eye, the column submission deadline passed and the streak ended. This week starts a new chapter, one I hope you will enjoy as much as the previous four years of weekly informative columns. Into everyone’s life, an occasional blip occurs and provides one with an opportunity to reflect, and restart.
Did you know that the new furniture store, Interior Today, is working hard to transform the main level of the former Sears store into their showroom and hoping to open soon? Cornwall Square is very pleased to welcome Interior Today to its family of retailers and look forward to its Opening Day.
Did you know that Cornwall Square will once again have a Mother’s Day photo-op at the mall’s centre court on the main level from May 6 to May 10? Come and check out the Cornwall Square Mother’s Day display and either take a selfie or have your picture taken. Fill out a ballot to win one of three prizes to be drawn May 11 at noon.
