Participants explored police tools and vehicles, joined marine patrols, learned drone operations, and took part in fitness training. They also gained insight into specialized areas such as forensic identification, tactical operations, and organized crime investigations, while practicing drills and teamwork throughout the week.
The program concluded with a graduation ceremony attended by families, AMPS officers, and community leaders. AMPS Deputy Chief of Police Lee-Ann O’Brien, Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA) Grand Chief Leonard Lazore, and MCA Acting Executive Director Shannon Roundpoint each praised the commitment shown by the graduates.
