You need to know that the Cornwall Square’s broadcast last week, seeking a piper for a November 8 event near our new Remembrance Week display to honour those who fought and continue to fight for our freedom, was successful. Rory MacDonald will be on site to regale us with the haunting sounds of his bagpipe’s music echoing throughout the Square.
Did you know that The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign at Cornwall Square began October 31? Legion members will be located in the mall’s East Courtyard November 7, 8, 9 and 10. Please show your support and proudly wear your poppy.
Did you know that this Saturday November 8, Jessica Levasseur of Nurtured Holistics will be here at Cornwall Square between Kool Covers and Wireless Wave offering customers treatments to ease their tensions at this busy time of the year? Need to let go of your stresses, stop by and let Jessica help you.
You need to know that Santa’s arrival time on Sunday November 23 is at 11 a.m. and not 11:30 a.m. as noted in last week’s column.
Did you know that the Mega Grim Reaper vanished last weekend after being the backdrop for many customers’ selfies and setting the tone for the Cornwall Square in mall family Halloween Day October 26? A special thank you to Philippe Ferland of Crunchy Munchies who served many hundreds of Candy Floss units. Another special thanks to all our stores who participated in that day’s event by handing out goodies to the hundreds of children who came out for the day. Once again, this year’s Halloween costumes were both creative and cute, highlighted by a new group of young princesses, dinosaurs and one positively adorable Garfield outfit. Both magic shows puzzled and amused their audiences. Thank you, Steve.
A big thanks to the Cornwall Square Maintenance/Decor Team for their efforts.
