W3G & Co.’s 16th Annual Trunk Sale drew over 5,000 attendees and 130 vendors to the greenhouses at Marlin Orchards & Garden Centre, raising a record-breaking $100,904.30 for Maison Baldwin House.
“I am over the moon excited that we were able to raise this much money for a much-needed organization,” said W3G & Co. founder Debbie Burns. “Our efforts through the years have benefitted local grassroots agencies…we see the impact.”
This year’s sale featured a bustling food court with eight vendors offering everything from Thai cuisine and wood-fired pizza to gluten-free pastries and poutine. A total of 2,700 cars were parked over the two-day event.
The funds will support Baldwin House’s new five-bed residential program for women leaving situations of human trafficking. “We are so very excited to hear the total raised this year,” said Executive Director Debbie Fortier.
With this year’s donation, the Trunk Sale has now contributed over $600,000 to local charities — funds that have supported critical services and new programs across the region.
