Once again this year, the Seaway Valley Singers will present a $500 bursary to a deserving student at the choir’s spring concert, to be held at Christian Reformed Church in Williamsburg May 8.
To be considered for the bursary, applicants must be residents of Eastern Ontario and currently enrolled (or accepted as of Fall 2026) in any full-time studies program at a post-secondary institution. If the program is not music-related, the student must take music lessons or instruction privately. The recipient must be available to attend the concert for the presentation and to help at the door if required.
The deadline for bursary applications is April 12. Full details of the program along with the application form are available at https://ift.tt/XKOqlwN.
Established in 1993, Seaway Valley Singers is a non-profit organization based in Williamsburg; members come from throughout the Seaway Valley. The purpose of the choir is to advance the knowledge and appreciation of the cultural richness of choral music, while enjoying the pleasure of singing and learning in concert with others.
