A traffic stop in Cornwall has led to a drug seizure and charges against a Cornwall man.
March 14, shortly after 10:30 p.m., an officer with the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a pick-up truck after it failed to stop for a red light at McConnell Avenue and Tollgate Road.
A search led to the seizure of nearly 400 grams of suspected cocaine and over $1,000 in cash.
Cory Crowder, 40, has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose or trafficking, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available and failing to stop for a red light
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court May 19.
