Did you know that there will soon be a new tenant on the main level at the west end of the mall on what once was the main floor of the former Sears store? The transformation of main level space started a couple of weeks ago and will carry on for several more. The 48,500-square-foot area will become the new home to a furniture store. Stay tuned for the store’s grand opening advertising in the next few weeks.
You need to know that the “Earth Matters” display in the storefront windows of the store between Bell World and Majestik Communications will be there for the month of April. April 22, which is Earth Day, the artworks will have extra special meaning. Come and see the display as you drop in to Cornwall Square Food Hall or on your way out.
You need to know that Art4allinthemall will be holding their next artistic expression event April 11 in the east court on the main level in front of Dollarama.
Did you know that the “Word of the Week” is “Planet,”the one we live on, and need to take care of?
Did you know that April is “exterior clean up month” here at Cornwall Square with the maintenance team cleaning up the mess left behind by Mother Nature and our snow removal contractor’s efforts to keep the property safe from snow and ice? Aside from sweeping all the parking areas and ending up with hundreds of pounds of dirt and gravel, we also need to get the parking area and roadway catch basins flushed to avoid clogging our storm sewer system.
Did you know that the brown piece of what looks like metal hanging below the building’s metal cladding along the fire lane is made of foamcore material akin to cardboard and very light?
We need to get a boom truck to remove it as it is hanging a fraction too high for our mall scissor lift.
