The Cornwall Colts and Hawkesbury Hawks each claimed a win in a back-to-back preseason series.
On Friday, August 29 in Hawkesbury, the Colts fell 6-4 despite a strong push in the second half. Goals came from Ryan Racine, Nathan Plouffe, Nash Luther, and Arthur Lalonde, who scored twice. Carter Rolland contributed two assists. Cornwall was outshot 57-22, with goaltenders Calix Rivard and Parker Sauve combining for 51 saves.
The Colts responded with a 4-1 win on Saturday, August 30 at the Benson Centre in Cornwall. William Cotton led the charge with two goals, while Wyatt Warner added a goal and an assist. Luc Beliveau had a standout performance with a goal and two assists. Goaltenders Gabriel Poitras and George Foti stopped 20 of 21 shots.
Cornwall opens its regular season on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Benson Centre (Arena 1), hosting the Carleton Place Canadians at 7:30 p.m.
